News
18th November
The BIG NEWS (no one would know unless I shout it from the rooftops) is that I have delivered 50 60 x 40 prints to The Royal Beach Hotel - 2 different images, one for each refurbished bedroom. I won't see them unless I book a room which is unlikely seeing as I only live round the corner but I know they are there! Both are macro shots, one is a Venetian mask and the other the side of a gondola, complete with golden lady and burgundy tassels.
Now available - a set of four 'Christmassy cards' which did well at the Christmas Art on the Pier event. There were some really great artists there and including a pop artist whose work I really liked. For every sale i made a donation to my favourite charity, SmileTrain for fixing children born with cleft lip and palate, a tragedy if the cleft is not mended as in many countries these children are ostracised and can never have a normal life.
You can find these cards on the Cards page and for every set of 4 sold 50p will go to SmileTrain and for every set of 8 £1 will be donated.
The White Dog Gallery is now open in Lee-on-Solent and it is alrealy buzzing! It is a sister gallery to Hiscock's and stocks some of the same artists, and is a very pleasant shop to visit, right by the sea. On the night of the launch (4 Nov) it was incredibly windy and wet but there was still a really good turnout!
I have nine prints for sale in Hiscock's Gallery, opposite Waitrose, in Southsea. These are Reflections but not shown on ths website because of exclusivity deal. Go and browse in the rack! They are in the larger prints section on the ground floor.
